Community Guidelines
Version 1 · Effective October 14, 2026 · Swop Technologies Inc. (“Swop”, “we”, “us”)
Swop has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Content that violates these guidelines is removed and accounts that post it may be banned. By using Swop you agree to these guidelines. They are part of our Terms of Service.
1. What the Swop community is for
Swop is a place to build your SmartSite, share posts and live streams, sell what you make, send and receive money, and talk with other people. It works when people feel safe here. These guidelines say what is not allowed, how to report or block someone, and what we do when the rules are broken. They apply to everything you post or send on Swop: profiles, SmartSites, feed posts, comments, messages, live streams and replays, product listings, usernames, and images.
2. What is not allowed
Do not post, send, sell, or link to any of the following.
- Hate. Attacks on people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, disability, age, or serious illness, including slurs and hateful symbols.
- Harassment and bullying. Targeting someone with insults, threats, unwanted sexual attention, or repeated unwanted contact, or encouraging others to do so.
- Sexual content. Pornography, sexually explicit images or video, and sexual solicitation. Any sexual content involving a minor is reported to law enforcement.
- Violence and threats. Threats of harm to any person or group, glorifying or inciting violence, graphic violence, and content that promotes self-harm or suicide.
- Illegal goods and services. Drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen items, stolen account or card data, or anything else that is illegal to sell or buy where you or the buyer are.
- Scams, fraud, and impersonation. Deceptive offers, fake giveaways, pump-and-dump or other market manipulation, phishing, pretending to be another person, business, or Swop itself, and taking payment for something you do not deliver.
- Spam. Repetitive or unsolicited posts, comments, or messages, misleading links, fake engagement, and automated activity that is not permitted by our Terms.
- Doxxing. Sharing someone’s private information without their consent, such as a home address, phone number, private wallet details, identity documents, or private messages.
- Intellectual property infringement. Posting or selling work you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted media, trademarks, and other people’s designs or brands.
Swop also removes content that is otherwise unlawful, that breaks our Terms of Service, or that puts the safety of our community at risk.
3. Zero tolerance
Swop has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Content that violates these guidelines is removed and accounts that post it may be banned. Where the behavior is seriously harmful or illegal, we may act without warning and may report it to law enforcement.
4. How to report
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it. In the app, open the “…” menu on the post, comment, message, live stream, listing, or profile and choose Report. You can also email support@swopme.co with a link to, or a screenshot of, the content and a short description of the problem.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. We remove content that violates these guidelines and take action against the account responsible. Reports are confidential: the person you report is not told who reported them.
5. Blocking
You can block any user from their profile or from the “…” menu on their content. Blocking hides that user’s content and messages from you, and they can no longer message you or interact with your content. You can unblock someone at any time from your settings.
6. Enforcement
Depending on how serious a violation is and whether it has happened before, we may remove the content, warn the account, limit what the account can do, suspend it for a period, or ban it permanently. Serious violations, including threats, sexual content involving minors, and fraud, result in a ban on the first offense. A banned user may not create a new account.
A ban or suspension does not by itself affect funds held in your wallets, which you continue to control; it does end your access to the social, selling, and messaging features of Swop. If you think we made a mistake, you can appeal by emailing support@swopme.co with your username and what you would like us to look at again. We will tell you the outcome of the appeal.
7. How this relates to our other terms
These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service, and section 3 of the Terms requires you to follow them. If these guidelines and the Terms conflict, the Terms govern. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you report, block, or appeal, and how we use it.
We may update these guidelines. A new version is published here with a new version number and effective date. Questions: support@swopme.co.
